This is our standard chain port. The port is 1.75” tall with 1.25” of tongue relief. The shank is 7.25” long with a 1- 5/8” purchase. I find this bit to be a really good fit for a finished level team roping horse. It’s enough control to get what you need out of it without over bitting the and scaring them. It really helps on a head horse when you need to hold them in the move and keep them from dropping out. On a heel horse you have the control you need in the corner and plenty of stop.
